Submit a cancellation or refund request

If you need to cancel or amend your YHA website booking please use the form below.

Our Customer Services Team works Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. We will send you a confirmation email once your refund has been processed. Please note that a NZ$5.00 transaction fee applies to all cancellations. We can only assist with cancellations for accommodation booked through the YHA website (www.yha.co.nz). 

If you're cancelling a booking for today or tomorrow, we'd appreciate you getting in touch with the hostel directly.

The YHA Customer Services team works Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. For cancellations within 24 hours please contact the hostel directly. During peak periods it can take up to a week for us to confirm the processing of your refund has taken place. Thank you for your patience!

We will keep your payment as a credit for a future booking within the next 12 months.
You will receive a refund less NZ$5.00 transaction fee if applicable.
