We have nearly 200 staff in our 13 YHA-managed hostels and National Office, Franchise and Associate Partnerships with over 20 independently owned and operated hostels around the country, and host over 350,000 guest-nights in our managed network each year. YHA today
Our Heritage
You may not know that despite our modern hostels and facilities, we’ve actually been around for a long time.
We were founded in 1932 by a really awesome woman named Cora Wilding.
