Albatross Encounter

Kaikoura is regarded as the ‘albatross capital of the world’ proven by the number of albatross species which are so easily found off the Kaikoura Coast.
The boat tour known as Albatross Encounter, offers magnificent views of albatross and many other seabird species only a short distance away from land. These giant ‘wanderers of the Southern Ocean’ are a spectacular sight and their grace and gliding prowess will captivate you on a very special level.

Dolphin Encounter
Kaikoura is well known for the rich abundance of species in both marine life and birdlife.  Located two hours north of Christchurch, Kaikoura offers a unique range of activities, which allow you to experience nature first hand.
