The YHA New Plymouth hostel is within easy driving distance of Mt Taranaki / Mt Egmont or the hostel staff can provide a shuttle bus to Egmont National Park. 

YHA New Plymouth Egmont Eco Lodge has a large variety of backpacker accommodation (single, double, twin, shared and family) available as well as tent sites.
