Description

YHA Coromandel is set in parklike grounds of an historic villa right in the heart of Coromandel town, on the Coromandel peninsula. From our spacious grounds you can take in the gorgeous views of the Coromandel Harbour and the magnificent sunrises and sunsets. A photographers dream.

YHA Coromandel backpacker hostel is only 200 metres to the main street of town and many fine restaurants, bars and cafes.

The immaculately clean hostel includes a fully equipped kitchen, and sun drenched lounge with panoramic views of Coromandel Harbour. Enjoy our beautiful grounds, BBQ area or indulge in a private sauna. 

Tony & Linda offer all backpackers/guests a very warm and friendly welcome and comfortable stay, they are well informed and are always willing to offer information or advise on local activities, they will also be pleased to help you with your future travel plans around Coromandel Peninsula and throughout New Zealand.

From Thames, The Intercity, Turley Murphy Bus and Magic Bus services will drop you at gate. Connections from other areas eg, Auckland, Tauranga & Rotorua drop you at Thames for the connection.
