YHA Picton, Wedgwood House

This centrally sited Picton hostel is a converted 100-year old traditional guesthouse with character. Everything Picton has to offer is right on the doorstep, as YHA Picton Wedgwood House is located just off Picton’s High Street and is easy to find. This is a family owned and operated hostel where you will come as a stranger but leave as a friend.

The YHA Picton hostel is clean, tidy and friendly with a range of comfortable accommodation at an affordable price, together with a 3 star Qualmark rating. Accommodation ranges from a few small bedrooms in the main hostel, while the adjacent building has three separate fully self-contained flats which sleep 4-9 in mostly twin/double rooms. This Picton backpackers has a quiet lounge with books, magazines and games as well as has a sun-drenched private garden and outdoor areas with covered seating near the paved BBQ area.

There are many great activities to do in Picton like kayaking, diving, sailing, walks or cruising the magnificent Marlborough Sounds. Close to the train and bus stations and Interislander ferry terminal YHA Picton Wedgwood House is the perfect hub for exploring the North and South Islands of New Zealand.
